Here is a list of incidents that left us with 100s of killed since 2005 to 2015

    Earthquake 2005

    October 8th 2005, A 7.5 magnitude earthquake kills an estimated 80,000 people in northern Pakistan.

    2006 Sirdar Akbar Bugti killed

    August 26th, 2006 - Prominent Baloch leader and politician Sirdar Akbar Bugti killed by military, that leaded to crises in Pakistan and Musharraf Government

    2007, Karachi Bombing Near Bhutto Convoy

    October 19th , 2007 – At least 124 people are killed and 320 injured in the Karachi bombings near the convoy carrying Bhutto

    2008 Benazir Bhutto's Assasination

    December 27th, 2008 - Former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto assassinated in Rawalpindi

    2009 -Militant Attack on Sri Lankan Team

    March 9th, 2009 Militants attack bus with the touring Sri Lankan cricket team. All international cricket matches in Pakistan are suspended. Pakistan also loses its status as hosts for the cricket World Cup 2011.

    2010 - Airblue Flight Crash

    July 28th 2010 - Crash of Airblue Flight 202, killing all 152 people aboard.

    2011 Governor Panjab Salman Taseer Shot

    January 4th, 2011 -The governor of Punjab, is shot by one of his bodyguards Malik Mumtaz Qadri near his home. Taseer dies of his wounds soon afterwards. Qadri turns himself in and claims he killed the governor due to his opposition to the blasphemy law in Pakistan.

    2014 - APS Peshawar Terrorist Incident

    December 16th 2014 - Taliban gunmen storm a military-run Army Public Schools in Peshawar, killing at least 141, including 132 children and nine employees, with most of five hundred students evacuated. The shooting ends with all seven gunmen dead.

    2012 Garment Factory Fire Incidents

    September 11th 2012 - Over 314 people die in Garment factory fires in the Pakistani cities of Karachi and Lahore.

    2015 Karachi and other southern regions Heat Wave

    June 18th 2015, Karachi and other southern regions of Pakistan experienced over 45 to 40 Degree Centigrade in June, Month of Holy Ramadan, widespread failures of the electrical grid left many locations without working air-conditioners, fans, or water pumps, adding further to the death toll. The deaths count was over 3000.
